 How to Show a Countdown Timer in Zoom The other day, I was joining yet another zoom meeting. This one would have around 60 participants, and it was important that it start and end on time. One of the moderators had the idea to show a countdown timer leading up to the start of the meeting. It was a really nice effect, especially in those last few seconds right before the meeting begins. Instead of the host trying to shout down the audience, or worse, the moderators forcing all mics muted, the timer was a simple visual indicator that the show was about to begin. In this post, I wanted to share some tips on how to show a countdown timer, and some pointers I've learned along the way.
